TempClip

Temperature indicators / Built in Ohio

A cold arrivalis only one moment.

A working battery-free indicator designed to make accumulated time above a temperature threshold visible. Explore a simple receiving check that adds context to a shipment's temperature history.

For packaging development, cooler rentals and nonclinical cold-chain evaluation.

Built around your problem

Make earlier exposure part of the receiving check.

Packaging development

A single arrival reading misses the journey.

Compare the visual indicator with a reference logger under a defined temperature and exposure profile.

Cooler-rental operations

The return temperature leaves questions.

Evaluate activation, placement and the visual response during representative use. Document the limits before adopting it in receiving.

Nonclinical logistics

Receivers need a quick visual cue.

Check whether staff interpret the indicator consistently under expected lighting and packaging conditions.

01 / What you get

From a signal
to a useful decision.

01

A visual exposure cue

A progressive indicator is designed to show accumulated exposure rather than only the temperature at receiving.

02

Passive operation

Read accumulated exposure without a battery, charger or wireless connection.

03

Application-specific testing

Calibration, activation, transport and shelf storage all matter. An evaluation uses your target profile and reference measurement.

02 / The evaluation

A small start.
A clear way to learn.

See the working product in a private demonstration, confirm the result you need, and discuss supply or a manufacturing partnership.

  1. 01

    Define the intended receiving decision.

  2. 02

    Specify temperature and duration requirements.

  3. 03

Compare response with calibrated reference data.

  4. 04

    Review suitability and sample supply.

Make the demonstration useful

Does the indicator track your defined exposure profile well enough for a receiving check?

One nonclinical test profile with a reference temperature logger. This is a characterization trial, not a product-release or safety decision.

Proposed evaluation scope

The final scope is agreed for your setup. A useful starting point includes:

  • A defined activation and exposure procedure
  • A side-by-side indicator and reference-logger record
  • Observed variation, readability and storage limitations
  • A decision on further validation and sample specification

Exposure response

Compare indicated change with time and temperature recorded by the reference logger.

Repeatability

Test multiple agreed samples under the same profile and record variation.

Activation and storage

Check baseline state and unintended changes during the agreed storage and activation steps.

Readability

Record whether a receiver can interpret the indicator at the agreed inspection point.

  • ↗Define the threshold and exposure period
  • ↗Compare prototype response with a reference logger
  • ↗Evaluate storage, activation, placement and readability
  • ↗Agree a sample specification before pricing or supply

Threshold accuracy, shelf life and production pricing are established through testing. No medical-release or food-safety decision claim is made.

04 / Before you decide

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Is this approved for vaccines or clinical samples?+

No regulatory approval or clinical suitability claim is made. Such applications need their own validation and qualified review.

Does it replace a calibrated temperature logger?+

Not by default. The evaluation compares its indication with reference measurements and establishes the limits for the intended use.

Can I order a production roll now?+

The current route is a prototype evaluation. Batch availability, calibration, packaging and lead time must be agreed before accepting an order.
